Erifnus Likes the Logo...Next exit. An oasis to behold after traveling through ice and snow and wind. A forest of gasoline signs offered my car the lure to drink deep from a selection of gas pumps not seen since the ‘60s. But the pumps were dry. No gas. No matter. This is a detour into the past. Bob’s Gasoline Alley outside Cuba, Missouri, displays more Route 66 gas station memorabilia than anywhere. Walk inside the museum among stunning collections of toy cars, neon and nostalgia from Burma Shave signs to drive-in diner chic. Road trippers: get your kicks in this roadside blast from the Mother Road’s past.
